This weekend, New York Knicks guard Ron Baker was back at Wichita State for an autograph signing. On Friday, he was at the Wichita State bookstore from 5-7 p.m. 

Baker also had an appearance on Sunday at the west Wichita Academy Sports and Outdoors. The autograph session took place from noon to 1 p.m. 

Autographs and photographs are free for those who attend. There is no denying the popularity that Baker still holds in Wichita and large crowds attended both events. 

Baker was a three-time first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection. During his time on campus, Wichita State had an unprecedented run of success and won three MVC titles. 

In Baker's first season, the Shockers had a run to the Final Four. The next year, they had an undefeated regular season and in 2015 he was an Associated Press honorable mention All-American as WSU made a trip to the Sweet 16. 

Baker signed this past offseason with the New York Knicks. He split his rookie season between the Knicks and the D-League's Westchester Knicks.
