A week out from the NFL Draft, Nike locked up the quarterback who could be the top overall pick.  Cal QB Jared Goff signed his first major endorsement deal with the company last Wednesday.

Nike Football welcomed Goff to the brand with a 30-second cartoon detailing one of his most recognized passes.  The video features a touchdown pass he tossed in the Armed Forces Bowl against Air Force.

Goff perhaps put the final touches on his NFL Draft stock in that game, throwing for 467 yards and six touchdowns.  For his efforts, he was named Armed Forces Bowl MVP.

Several experts are predicting Goff goes to the Los Angeles Rams with the top selection, making this a worthy investment for Nike. Wherever he ends up, he will try to bring the high-octane passing attack he displayed while quarterbacking the Golden Bears.  

As a junior, Goff threw for 4,714 yards with 43 touchdowns against just 13 interceptions. His yardage and touchdown numbers are both new single-season Pac 12 records.  

Goff also led Cal to their first winning season since 2011 and was named first-team All-Pac 12.  As a three-year starter, he completed over 60 percent of his passes as a collegian.
