Pioneering NBA assistant coach Becky Hammon will share the story of her rise through basketball with female business leaders in Arkansas this September.  Hammon is the keynote speaker at the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce’s Northwest Arkansas Business Women’s Conference on September 15th.

This past season, Hammon became the first full-time female assistant coach in male professional sports history with the San Antonio Spurs.  Prior to becoming a coach, she was one of the most decorated basketball players in the world.

Hammon was a six-time WNBA All-Star and two-time All-WNBA first-team pick.  She spent her career domestically playing for the New York Liberty and San Antonio Stars. 

In addition to her WNBA experience, Hammon has played professionally all over the globe.  She is a member of the Colorado State University Sports Hall of Fame and holds Rams career records for points and assists.
