Video went viral over the weekend of Seattle Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin attending a meet and greet appearance put on by the medical rehabilitation facility.
Griffin met with several fans, including several children who also only have one hand. One young boy in particular, Joseph Tidd, caught the attention of America with the heartwarming scene that was posted everywhere on social media.
Major news outlets like ESPN, the NBC Nightly News, ABC News and more picked up on amazing meeting between Griffin and the little boy. Tidd and his mom even appeared on NBC's TODAY Wednesday morning.
In addition to inspiring many across the country, the meet and greet benefited St. Pete Nitro Track and Field, a club started by Griffin and his twin brother Shaquill. Brooks Rehabilitation's event "Celebrate Independence 2019" also featured a free moderated question and answer session where Griffin talked about football and his plans for life in the future.
