Former Ohio State defensive lineman Joey Bosa was the big winner last night's NFL Draft. After the top two quarterbacks came off the board, he was the third overal pick of the San Diego Chargers.
Bosa had already been cleaning up during the week, the biggest evidence of which is a new endorsement deal with supplement company MetRx. He is the new face of the company that is undergoing a whole rebranding.
MetRx is launching a new line of products as well. Bosa has been using many of those items in the lead-up to the draft and had familiarity with the company growing up from his dad owning a gym.
The Chargers are hoping that Bosa anchors their line for the next decade. If his dominance while with the Buckeyes is any indication, he will have a successful NFL career.
Bosa was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten pick at OSU. He also won the conference's Defensive Lineman of the Year award in both 2014 and 2015.
Each season, Bosa garnered All-American honors. As a sophomore, he stabilized a defense that would go on to win the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship.
