The Junior League of Dallas has landed a big-name speaker for their Milestones Luncheon this fall.  Tennis star Venus Williams will keynote the event that begins November 16th at the Hilton Anatole.  

The luncheon benefits the Junior League of Dallas Community Service Fund.  That fund raises money for a variety of programs that the JLD supports. 

Junior League Dallas is in its 95th year and is the largest Junior League in the world.  Tickets for the luncheon start at $175 and there are also sponsorship packages available beginning at $3000.

Williams has had a lengthy and remarkable career in the tennis world.  At the age of 36, she still remains one of the top names in the sport and is ranked eighth in the world in singles play. 

Throughout the course of her career, Williams has spent 11 weeks at number one in the world.  She holds seven Grand Slam titles which ranks 12th all-time. 

Williams 49 career WTA Tour singles titles ranks second among active players to her younger sister Serena.  She also has four Olympic gold medals.
