With college basketball season approaching, UConn coach Kevin Ollie will be making the rounds.  On October 7th, he is speaking at the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Member Breakfast Meeting. 

The meeting will be held at Radisson Hotel Cromwell.  Networking for the event begins at 7 a.m. and the breakfast buffet line opens at 7:30. 

The program runs from 8-9 a.m. and during that time Ollie will preview the Huskies upcoming season.  The cost to attend the breakfast is $22 for members and $32 for non-members. 

Ollie has quickly compiled one of the best resumes of any head coach in the country.  He was promoted from an assistant role in 2012 and led UConn to the 2014 NCAA Championship. 

Ollie's career record stands at 97-44, good enough for fifth in Huskies history.  His teams have won over 20 games in each of his four seasons. 

Prior to joining the UConn staff in 2010, Ollie had a 13-year NBA playing career.  He played for 12 different franchises after being a star during his four collegiate seasons with the Huskies.
