At 10-0, the Carolina Panthers may be this season’s greatest NFL success story.  Head coach Ron Rivera has quietly piloted the Panthers franchise to becoming a consistent winner.

As Rivera racks up wins on the field, he is also showing support for the USAA off the field as part of a national ad campaign.  The coach shot six different commercials that highlight his comedic side and an “appetite for risk”.

Coming into 2015, Rivera had led the Panthers to back-to-back NFC South Division championships.  He currently boasts a 41-31 career record now in his fifth season as a head coach.

Prior to arriving in Carolina, Rivera had built up an impressive resume on the defensive side of the ball.  He was the defensive coordinator for both the Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers.

With the Bears, Rivera led a formidable defense that carried the team into Super Bowl XLI.  He also had a nine-year playing career in Chicago and won Super Bowl XX as a member of the famed 1985 squad.
