As one of the most popular Chicago White Sox, fans will surely line up at Brett Lawrie's upcoming autograph signing. On May 7th, he will make an appearance at Sideline Sports Memorabilia in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Lawrie will sign for those who have purchased autograph tickets. They will be available for pickup at the store beginning seven days out from the signing.
Autograph prices range from $39-$49. There is also a $39 photo op ticket, a $19 ticket add on for inscriptions and $8 extra to receive a JSA Certificate of Authenticity for the signature.
Lawrie has been one of baseball's rising stars for some time. He is in his first year with the White Sox after hitting a career-high 16 home runs and 60 RBI in his lone season with the Oakland Athletics.
Prior to arriving in Oakland, Lawrie spent the first four years of his career with the Toronto Blue Jays. While in their minor league system, he was a two-time Futures Game participant and member of Baseball America's 2011 Minor League All-Star team.
The British Columbia native was originally selected 16th overall in the 2008 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers, making him the highest drafted Canadian position player ever. Lawrie has also been a vital piece of the Canadian national team, being named to the squad for the 2008 Olympics as well as the 2009 and 2013 World Baseball Classic.
