One of wrestling’s biggest stars paid a visit to his alma mater this weekend.  WWE United States Champion John Cena gave the commencement address on Saturday at Cushing Academy in Massachusetts.

It was Cena’s 20th anniversary of graduating from the school.  130 students got diplomas from the prep school that was holding their 150th graduation.

Per an article on the school’s website, Cena told the students, “Twenty years ago I sat where you sat and I’m so grateful. The life lessons I learned at Cushing I carry with me every day like you carry a cell phone, and I use them every day like you use Instagram. Don’t throw away today. Focus on the now. Your future will be there and trust me, you have the best possible foundation for your future. Enjoy today because it only happens once.”

Cena has been the biggest name in the WWE for a decade.  He is a 23-time champion, including a record 12 reigns as World Heavyweight Champion.

At the sport’s premier event WrestleMania, Cena is a five-time headliner.  Outside of the ring, he stars in movies and makes various other television appearances.
