Adam Eaton Biography

Adam Eaton has played for four franchises, but is best known for his time with the Washington Nationals. The Arizona Diamondbacks originally selected Eaton in the 19th round of the 2010 MLB Draft. He was a Pioneer League All-Star and California League All-Star in his first two minor league seasons. In 2012, he was named the Pacific Coast League Most Valuable Player. Eaton made his major league debut late in that season and spent parts of two seasons playing for the Diamondbacks. Eaton was traded to the Chicago White Sox in 2014 and developed into an everyday player. He hit .300 with a league-leading ten triples in his first season. Eaton led the American League in triples again in 2016. He was set to make a major impact for the Nationals in 2017 before tearing his ACL early in the season. Eaton bounced back and won a World Series in Washington in 2019.
