Amy Rodriguez Biography

Amy Rodriguez is a member of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team. She also stars in the National Women’s Soccer League for FC Kansas City. Rodriguez is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and was on the 2011 team that finished as runner-ups at the World Cup. In 2014, her club team also took home the NWSL Championship. Rodriguez led the way with two goals in the title match. She was a star player at USC, helping the Trojans capture their first ever championship in women’s soccer in 2007. She was named the NCAA College Cup Most Outstanding Player. A three-time All-Pac 10 performer, Rodriguez ranked fourth all-time in scoring and first in game winning goals at USC. She was born in Beverly Hills, California and was a two-time Parade All-American at Santa Margarita Catholic High School. Rodriguez is sponsored by Puma. She has a son, Ryan John Shilling, who was born in 2013.
