Andres Gonzales Biography

Andres Gonzales is an American golfer with five professional wins between his time on the Web.com and Canadian tours. Gonzales has also logged time on the PGA Tour, with his best finish being a tie for eighth at the Wyndham Championship in 2013. He gained great notoriety as a Tour rookie in 2011 for his hilarious tweets to Tiger Woods. His unique Fu-Manchu mustache, long hair, and big personality also add to his reputation in the golf world. He has since cut his hair he first had on Tour for “Locks of Love”. Gonzales also gives back to charities that work towards a cure for pancreatic cancer after his father passed away from the disease in 2007. His charity pro-am raises money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action network and The First Tee of South Puget Sound. He played collegiately at UNLV and studied journalism. Gonzales is originally from Olympia, Washington.
