Bill Romanowski Biography

Bill Romanowski is a former college and NFL linebacker. Bill played for Boston College for four years and then went onto the NFL by being selected in the 3rd round. During his 16 year NFL career he played for four teams and played an amazing 243 consecutive games which was a record at the time. Bill had great success during his career including four Super Bowl Championships out of five appearances, two NFC Championships, three AFC Championships, as well as being selected to the Pro Bowl team on two occasions. Romanowski’s stats included 1,105 tackles, 39.5 sacks, 18 forced fumbles, and 18 interceptions, which he returned for a total of 98 yards and 1 career touchdown. Following his tenure as a player, Bill has been an actor in movies such as The Longest Yard playing a prison guard, The Benchwarmers playing a baseball coach, as well as other films and television shows.
