Brandt Snedeker Biography

Brandt Snedeker is a professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Prior to his time on the PGA Tour, Snedeker played for the Vanderbilt University golf team until turning professional in 2004. He originally competed on the Nationwide Tour, winning two events and finishing ninth on the tour money list in 2006, earning a spot on the PGA Tour for the 2007 season. As a rookie on the PGA Tour, Snedeker experienced immediate success, making eight straight cuts and winning his first tournament at the Wyndham Championship. This breakout performance earned Snedeker the 2007 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year and a final ranking of 47th in the World Rankings. Snedeker would not win another event until the 2011 season, when he won the Heritage over Luke Donald with a -12 score. His next few seasons would prove to be extremely successful, as Snedeker won four events over a two year span, climbing as high as 3rd in the World Rankings.
