Brendan Schaub Biography

Brendan Schaub is a professional mixed martial artist who has competes in the UFC promotion. Before he was in MMA, Schaub was a collegiate football player, playing tight end and fullback at the University of Colorado. After graduating, Schaub played for the Arena Football League’s Utah Blaze and was also a member of the Buffalo Bills practice squad for a brief period of time. Schaub eventually decided to retire from football to pursue an MMA career, eventually competing on the UFC reality show the Ultimate Fighter, finishing second to Roy Nelson, but gaining enough notoriety to earn a UFC contract. In eleven fights in the UFC, Schaub has compiled a 6-5 record with a 10-5 record overall through his MMA career.
