Brendon De Jonge Biography

Brendon de Jonge is a professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. De Jonge is originally from Zimbabwe, and he turned professional in 2004 by playing on the Nationwide Tour until 2006. In 2007, de Jonge completed PGA Tour qualifying school, earning him a spot on the tour, but a 155th place finish on the money list was not good enough to keep him qualified, and he returned to the Nationwide Tour in 2008. The 2008 season would be de Jonge’s most successful, as he would win the Xerox Classic and have a runner up finish, earning him a spot on the PGA Tour for the 2009 season. He went on to earn his full tour card at the end of 2010, and he reached all the way up to 34th on the overall money list during the season with seven top ten finishes.
