Carly Booth Biography

Carly Booth is a professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. As a child, Booth would practice golf on a course that was made especially for her and her brother, the professional golfer Wallace and her father. Upon turning professional, Booth was awarded a golf scholarship to compete at Glenalmond College in Scotland. Booth experienced a very successful amateur career that was filled with records and accolades. Booth played with Sandy Lyle at the British Masters Pro-Am at the age of 12, and at 14, she appeared in her first professional event. Booth won the European Junior Masters in 2007 and she was ranked the No. 1 junior in Europe. Booth turned professional in 2009 and she made her professional debut at the Ladies European Tour. Booth’s first win came in 2012 at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open. Her second win came in June at the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open.
