Caryn Davies Biography

Caryn Davies is, quite simply, one of the most successful rowers in Team USA history. She medaled at three straight Olympics, winning two golds and one silver in women's eight competition. Davies holds more medals than any other American oarswoman and is also the most decorated Olympic to graduate from Harvard. While an undergrad at Radcliffe, she won an NCAA team championship at Radcliffe. Davies also has degrees from Columbia Law School and Oxford University. At Oxford, she took part in the first-ever women's Oxford/Cambridge boat race on the River Thames in London. Davies is a member of the New York Athletic Club Hall of Fame. She has been both a Vice President of the U.S. Olympians Association and the athletes' representative for the U.S. Rowing board. Davies is currently an attorney at a firm in Boston.
