Chad Campbell Biography

Chad Campbell is a professional who plays on the PGA Tour. Campbell attended Midland College where he was a conference medalist in 1993, the same year that Midland dominated the Western Junior College Athletic Conference and won the regional title. In 1994, the team repeated as the WJCAC champions, and they finished second in the National Junior College Athletic Association championship. Campbell was named an NJCAA All-American in 1994. Campbell spent two years at Midland before he was awarded a scholarship to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 1996, Campbell turned professional. From 1996-2000, Campbell played on the third-tier NGA Hooters Tour and during this time, he won 13 tournaments. Campbell began playing on the second-tier Buy.com Tour where he won three tournaments that earned him a promotion to the PGA Tour. Campbell has recorded four PGA Tour wins. In 2004, Campbell was briefly featured in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
