Chad Collins Biography

Chad Collins is a professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Collins attended Methodist College where he won the NCAA Division III Championship as an individual three times and as a part of the team twice. Collins was also a four-time first-team All-American as well as a four-time first-team All-USA South Athletic Conference. Collins turned professional in 2001 after graduating from Methodist. From 2002-04, Collins played on the NGA Hooters Tour and as a rookie; he earned the Rookie of the Year award. Form 2005-07, Collins played on the Nationwide Tour and in 2005, he won the Henrico County Open. Collins earned a PGA Tour card for 2008 after finishing 23rd on the money in 2007. In 2011, Collins experienced an injury-plagued season and he was forced to shutdown his schedule. His 2012 season was split between the PGA and Web.com Tours. Collins has recorded 2 Web.com Tour wins and 2 Hooters Tour wins.
