Chris Rose Biography

Chris Rose is a sports broadcaster from Northeast Ohio who has made a name for himself in both the MLB and NFL. After graduating from Miami (OH) University, Rose held multiple jobs before getting his big break in 2001 with a new show, The Best Damn Sports Show Period on Fox Sports Net. Rose stuck with the show from 2001 all the way until its end in 2009. Rose then went to Fox Sports where he was a play-by-play analyst for the NFL. By 2009 Rose was the seventh play-by-play analyst before he switched over to Fox’s MLB coverage. Rose continued to work for Fox through 2012 as an MLB analyst both in the booth and on the field. In 2010 Rose was hired by the MLB Network when he began co-hosting the wildly popular show, Intentional Talk. Rose returned to the NFL for the NFL Network where he remains as an in-studio analyst for the Network.
