Corey Crawford Biography

Corey Crawford is one of the longest tenured members of the Chicago Blackhawks and has been in the net for their recent run of success.  Crawford had a banner season in 2013, posting a 1.94 goals against average as a part-time starter.  His great regular season led to starts in every postseason game as Chicago went on to win the Stanley Cup.  Crawford has grown as a goalie since and made his first All-Star team in 2015.  In the Windy City and among his teammates, Crawford is affectionately referred to as “Crow”.  Initially, he was up and down from the minors for the Blackhawks after being selected in the second round of the 2003 NHL Draft.  Crawford is originally from Montreal and made is mark on the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.  He was a two-time second-team All-Star in the QMJHL and was named the league’s best defensive player after the 2003-04 season.
