Daniel Chopra Biography

Daniel Chopra is a professional golfer who currently competes on the PGA Tour as well as the European Tour. Originally from Sweden, Chopra moved to India at just seven years old and immediately began competing on various junior tours. In 1988, 1990, and 1991, Chopra won the All India Junior Championship, along with the Doug Sanders World Junior Championship in 1991. The next year, Chopra turned professional, joining the European tour in 1996, competing on the tour until 2002. In 2004, Chopra joined the PGA Tour, eventually winning his first championship in 2007 at the Ginn sur Mer Classic at Tesoro. Two events later, Chopra won his second PGA Tour event in the Mercedes-Benz Championship. Overall, Chopra has competed on the PGA Tour, the Asian Tour, the Web.com Tour, and the Challenge Tour, collecting a total of 14 wins, with his highest finish in a major tournament being a 24th place at the 2004 Masters tournament.
