Demetrious Johnson grew up in Madison, Kentucky and fights out of Kirkland Washington as a member of the AMC Pankration team. Known as Mighty Mouse due to his 5’2, 125 pound frame, Johnson is the current UFC Flyweight Champion and sports a 21-2 career record with 4 knockouts, 8 wins by submission and 9 wins by decision. Johnson began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2007 and won his first fight via a knockout. Since that time he has fought on World Extreme Cagefighting circuit and in the UFC since 2010. Johnson captured the UFC Flyweight Championship in 2012 and successfully defended his crown five times since then. Currently he is ranked the #1 Flyweight in the world and is considered to be the No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC. With his small size he can take a beating and use his speed to get inside on his opponents to deliver bone-jarring blows. He’s also dangerous on the mat as a submission specialist. Mighty Mouse may be small, but he packs a big punch and leaves an impression on his opponents.
