Dennis Rodman Biography

Known for his tenacity on defense and strong rebounding skills, Dennis Rodman had one of the most memorable basketball careers in recent memory. During his 15 year NBA career he played for the Pistons, Spurs, Bulls, Lakers, and Mavericks and captured 5 NBA Championships in addition to winning two NBA Defensive Player of the Year Awards. As the best rebounder in NBA history, he led the NBA in rebounds for seven consecutive seasons from 1992 to 1998 while also earning two All-Star selections and earning All-NBA honors twice in 1992 and 1995. Known as “The Worm”, Rodman was honored by the Detroit Pistons with the retirement of his legendary No. 10 jersey after his retirement. In 2011 Rodman was honored with induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. After his career in basketball he pursued a successful acting and professional wrestling career and published his autobiography, As Bad As I Want To Be. In 2013 and 2014 he visited North Korea with Vice Media to host basketball exhibitions in the country, meet with their leader and train their national basketball team.
