Dexter Fowler Biography

Dexter Fowler had a successful 14-year major league career. Fowler represented the United States in the 2008 Summer Olympics and then made the jump to the big leagues with the Colorado Rockies. He was always putting pressure on opposing teams at the plate and on the basepaths. Fowler led MLB in triples in 2010. Fowler had the most notable year of his career in 2016, when he was named an All-Star and helped the Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years. Fowler became the first player to ever lead off a Game 7 of the World Series with a home run. He finished his career playing four seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals and one year with the Los Angeles Angels.
