Dudley Hart Biography

Dudley Hart is a professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Prior to his time as a professional, Hart attended the University of Florida on an athletic scholarship to play for the Gators’ golf team from 1987 until 1990. With the Gators, Hart earned SEC Freshman of the Year honors, for All American honors, three All-SEC honors, and helping the team win the 1989 SEC Championship. Hart then turned professional in 1990, joining the PGA Tour in 1991. His first victory came five years later at the 1996 Bell Canadian Open, winning again in 2000 at the Honda Classic. Although he has only won two events, Hart has been a consistent player on the PGA Tour, finishing in the top ten 55 times, and recording his best major championship finish in 1993 with a sixth place finish at the PGA Championship. For the next 15 years, Hart would compete on and off the PGA Tour, and still competes there to this day, looking to add on to his major accomplishments.
