Duffy Waldorf Biography

Duffy Waldorf is a professional golfer who currently plays on the Champions Tour. Prior to his time as a professional, Waldorf attended UCLA from 1982 until 1985, earning two All American honors and winning the 1985 Collegiate Player of the Year award. Following his graduation from UCLA, Waldorf turned professional and joined the PGA Tour, winning his first event at the 1995 LaCantera Texas Open by six strokes over Justin Leonard. Waldorf’s best season came in 1999, as he won both the Buick Classic and the Westin Texas Open, both in playoff rounds. In 2000, Waldorf won his fourth and final PGA Tour event at the National Car Rental Golf Classic Disney. His best major championship finish came in 1996 at the Masters, finishing in a tie for sixth place. Over his career, Waldorf has earned over $11 million dollars from the tour and has been featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Rankings. Waldorf now competes on the Champions Tour, and has made a career resurgence of sorts as of 2013 with 12 top ten finishes.
