Ed Cunningham Biography

Ed Cunningham has turned his post-football days into a successful career in both broadcasting and producing. After a career with the Washington Huskies that included a 1991 National Championship ring, Cunningham played center in the NFL for 5 years with the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. After retiring from the game, Cunningham turned to the booth and began a career as an analyst and an announcer with the Arena Football League on TNN (Spike). After that, Cunningham received offers to announce college football games for both CBS and ABC. By 2008, Cunningham had also been picked up by ESPN as a part of their show College Football Live. He continues to announce and analyze for both ABC and ESPN today. Cunningham also found a new talent as a producer. In 2011, Cunningham produced a documentary called Undefeated which went on to win an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
