Gabrielle Reece Biography

Gabrielle Reece is a professional volleyball player who competed on various international circuits and competitions representing the United States. Originally from the California, Reece grew up in the Virgin Islands, eventually moving back to the United States in 11th grade. During high school, Reece became a successful athlete, earning a volleyball scholarship to Florida State University. During her time at FSU, Reece led the league in kills all four years, and set multiple school records. Following her graduation, Reece moved to New York to pursue a professional volleyball career as well as to become a model. In 1989, Reece and her team won the first ever Beach Volleyball World Championships, and would go on to win many more professional titles in the Women’s Beach Volleyball League. Throughout her professional career, Reece won multiple awards and honors for her contributions, and she competed both domestically and internationally. Following her retirement from volleyball, Reece started training for a career in golf, but decided to give that up in order to raise a family. Reece is now a successful model and mother to two children.
