Grant Fisher Biography

Grant Fisher has had remarkable success in a variety of distances on the track. Fisher set American records in the 3,000 meters, 5,000 m and 10,000 m. He posted those results in the two longer distances in a breakout 2022 year and followed up a year later with his record showing in the 3,000 m. 

Foster first jumped onto the radar in high school as a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year in cross country. He was also just the seventh high schooler to run the mile in under four minutes. 

Foster then seamlessly transitioned to college, becoming an 11-time All-American and the NCAA champion in the 5000 m as a sophomore in 2017. Fisher competed in his first Olympics in 2021, finishing fifth in 10,000 m.
