Greg Olsen Biography

Greg Olsen was one of the best tight ends of his generation and now is perhaps best known as a top commentator for the NFL on FOX. Olsen blossomed during nine seasons with the Carolina Panthers, earning three straight Pro Bowl trips from 2014-16 and two Second-Team All-Pro selections. While with the Panthers, he was also the first tight end to record three straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons. 

Olsen joined the Panthers in 2011 after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Chicago Bears. He was a first-round pick of the Bears after being an All-American and the John Mackey Award winner at the University of Miami. 

Olsen spent one final year with the Seattle Seahawks in 2020 before retiring. He is now considered one of the top analysts in football.
