Igor Shesterkin is a star goaltender for the New York Rangers. Shesterkin was originally selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He continued to play overseas in Russia before debuting with the Rangers in 2020. Shesterkin had his breakout campaign during the 2021-22 season, going 36-13-4 and leading the NHL in save percentage and goals against average. He also led New York into the playoffs and set a team postseason record with 79 saves in one game.
