James Driscoll Biography

James Driscoll’s standout career as a youth golfer set the stage for his eventual success as a PGA Tour pro.  In his teens he was an First-Team All-American member of the American Junior Golf Association and would go on to earn All-American honors in three consecutive years at the University of Virginia.  After a runner-up finish at the 2000 US Amateur he won a spot in the following years Masters Tournament and had a solid showing.  In 2004 he earned his first pro win at the Virginia Beach Open and after making the cut in 75% of his starts on the Nationwide Tour in 2004 he earned his PGA Tour Card.  Since that time he has averaged over $800,000 in earnings each year on the PGA Tour, netting him over $2.6 million in career and earnings.  During his eight years on the PGA Tour he has been one of the most consistent players in the world.
