Jason Gore Biography

Jason Gore grew up on the links and played his collegiate golf at the Unviersity of Arizona and Pepperdine University. While at Pepperdine he was one of the leaders on their 1997 NCAA Division I National Championship team and was also a member of the Walker Cup championship team that year. After a successful senior season he turned pro and played on the Nationwide Tour for seven years before being named the Nationwide Tour Player of the Year in 2004 and landing a spot on the PGA Tour. His first win on the PGA Tour came in 2005 when he captured the 84 Lumbar Classic. He also got the thrill of his life that season when he played his way into the final group of the 2005 U.S. Open. To date, his best major finishes include a 47th place finish at the 2010 U.S. Open and a 62nd place finish at the PGA Championship in 2006. With a long drive and touch on the greens, Gore is a great player with style and grace that will continue to carry him to success in the future.
