Jay Haas Biography

Jay Haas has had a lifetime of success in golf on both the PGA and Champions Tours. Haas first landed on the golf radar as a member of the national champion Wake Forest team in the 1970s which many have declared the greatest college team ever. Haas turned pro in 1976 and won nine times. He posted top-five finishes in the Masters, U.S. Open and PGA Championship. Haas got better with age and remained in the top 20 of the Official World Golf Ranking after his 50th birthday. He has won 18 times on the Champions Tour and was the 2006 Champions Tour Player of the Year.
