Jay Williamson Biography

Jay Williamson was an American golfer who began golfing professionally in 1990. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Williamson grew up in the 1970’s and attended Trinity College, where he focused on his studies and his passion for the sport of golf. After graduating from Trinity, Williamson turned professional almost immediately. He has golfed on both the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour and has amassed a career total of more than $5 million. One of Williamson’s most notable wins was achieved at the 2007 Fort Smith Classic on the Nationwide Tour. His highest finish in a major was a tie for 20th at the 2003 U.S. Open. Williamson also had two runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour at the 2007 Travelers Championship and the 2008 John Deere Classic. Williamson is admired by many for his hard work and dedication to the sport he fell in love with at a very young age.
