Jermaine Taylor Biography

Jermaine Taylor is arguably the greatest player in UCF basketball history. Taylor is the Knights all-time leading scorer in their Division 1 era. He showed bright signs even as a freshman in Orlando, but broke out as a sophomore, averaging 12.7 points per game, which helped UCF finish second in Conference USA. Taylor went on to average over 20 points per game as a junior and 26 points per game as a senior. In his final year, he was an honorable mention All-American and the CUSA Player of the Year. Taylor went on to be drafted and play for the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings. He also played professionally in the G-League, Big 3 and overseas. In 2021, Taylor was inducted into the UCF Athletics Hall of Fame.
