Jessica Schultz Biography

Jessica Schultz grew up in the snow and ice of Anchorage, Alaska and Duluth, Minnesota. During that time she developed a great love for the outdoors and everything winter. So, it was only natural that she’d grow up to be a winter Olympian. After high school she attended Lake Superior College, where she studied physical therapy and sharpened her skills on the ice as a curler. At the 2005 United States National Championships she put herself on the map with a Gold Medal performance, which landed her on the 2006 United States Olympic curling team. She’d go on to with two more gold medals at the US National Championships in 2011 and 2013 to go along with two silver medals in 2007 and 2010. In 2014 she returned to Olympic competition as one of the prominent members of the US National curling team. Schultz has also been a solid international competitor, having made four World Championship appearances from 2005 to 2013.
