John Coppolella Biography

John Coppolella is the general manager of the Atlanta Braves. He became the GM of the team in 2015 and has been an essential part of the team that guided Atlanta's transition from Turner Field to SunTrust Park. Coppolella originally joined the Braves as director of baseball operations in 2006 and was promoted to assistant general manager in 2012. He got his first position in baseball as an intern with the New York Yankees in 2000. Coppolella is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
