Jonquel Jones is one of the WNBA's brightest stars. After attending Clemson and George Washington, Jones was selected sixth overall by the Connecticut Sun in the 2016 WNBA Draft. She was named the WNBA's Most Improved Player in 2017 after leading the league in rebounding. Jones also made her first All-Star team that year and the All-WNBA Second Team. The following season, she became a part-time starter and thrived in the role, winning Sixth Woman of the Year. In 2021, Jones led the Sun to the league's best regular-season record and was named WNBA MVP. She has also played in a variety of international leagues.
