Jordan Poyer Biography

Jordan Poyer was a three-sport star at Astoria High School in Oregon before going on to star at Oregon State University. In addition to leading his high school baseball team to a state championship as a freshman, he was also named league player of the year on the basketball court and scored 123 touchdowns on the football field while playing both quarterback and safety. At Oregon State he was a star cornerback and kick returner, earning consensus First-Team All-American and First-Team All-Pac- 12 honors in 2012. The following spring the Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He subsequently signed with the Cleveland Browns during his rookie season and spent four seasons with the franchise. Poyer has been a stalwart for the Buffalo Bills on defense since 2017, being selected as a First-Team All-Pro in 2021 and the Pro Bowl in 2022.
