Keenan Allen Biography

Keenan Allen has been a picture of consistency throughout his pro career. Allen racked up over 10,000 receiving yards and was a six-time Pro Bowler over 11 seasons spent with the Chargers franchise. 

In the middle of his tenure with the team, he battled back from a devastating ACL injury to win NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2017. Those who saw Allen on day 1 in San Diego, however, knew he was going to be a steal. 

Allen was a starter by the third game of his rookie season. In the fourteenth week of the 2013 season, Allen surpassed LaDainian Tomlinson for most receptions in a rookie season on the Chargers. He set another Charger record with five 100-yard games in a season. Allen was voted Rookie of the Week four times in the 2013 season and was named Sporting News’ NFL Rookie of the Year.

Allen played college football at the University of California-Berkley, where he was a first-team All-Pac 12 selection. The Chargers originally selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
