Kevin O'Connell Biography

Kevin O'Connell has a long respected background as a quarterback and coach in the NFL. O'Connell was groomed under top offensive minds like Jay Gruden and Sean McVay before becoming head coach of the Minnesota Vikings in 2022. He was the offensive coordinator for the Washington Redskins and the Los Angeles Rams. O'Connell's tenure with the Rams ended with a Super Bowl victory. He originally began his coaching career as the quarterbacks coach with the Cleveland Browns in 2015 prior to taking a role with the San Francisco 49ers. O'Connell spent four seasons as a quarterback in the league, primarily as a backup or practice squad player.
