Kirk Cousins Biography

Kirk Cousins has been the picture of consistency throughout his NFL career. Before signing with the Atlanta Falcons, Cousins spent six years with the Minnesota Vikings, going to three Pro Bowls. He threw for over 4,000 yards four times while with the Vikings. 

Cousins began his NFL career with Washington, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He threw for 4,000 yards in each of his last three seasons with the franchise and made his first Pro Bowl in 2016. The previous year, Cousins led the NFL in completion percentage. 

In college, Cousins was a three-year starter for Michigan State University. During his time as a Spartan, he earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors in 2011 and Honorable Mention All-Big Ten honors in 2009 and 2010 while passing for 9,131 career yards and 66 touchdowns. In 2011, Cousins was named the winner of the prestigious Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.
