Kirk Triplett Biography

Kirk Triplett grew up in Moses Lake, Washington and earned a degree in civil engineering from the University of Nevada before setting his sights on the pro golf tour in 1985. Since that time he has competed on the Champions Tour, Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour and won 11 pro events. His Champions Tour success has come recently as he captured two Nature Valley First Tee Open titles in consecutive years in 2012 and 2013 and both the ACE Group Classic and SAS Championship in 2014. His most notable wins have come on the PGA Tour, with his first title coming in 2000 at the Nissan Open. In 2003 he won the Reno-Tahoe Open and followed that up with a win at the 2006 Chrysler Classic of Tucson. In major tournaments he has been a solid competitor, finished tied for 6th in both the 2001 and 2004 Masters Tournament, placing 7th at the 2001 U.S. Open and finishing 10th at the 2001 PGA Championship. In 2000 he was selected to play on the U.S. Team at the Presidents Cup, which is one of this shining accomplishments.
