Kris Blanks Biography

Kris Blanks is a Warner Robins, Georgia native and played his college golf at Huntingdon College. After a stellar amateur career he took the leap to the pros in 1995 and became a star, competing on the Web.com and Nationwide Tours before landing on the PGA Tour in 2009. In 2008 he earned his first win on the Web.com Tour at the Bank of America Open which set the stage for him to finish in the top 15 on the Nationwide Tour money list and earn his PGA Tour card for 2009. Thus far in his pro career he has won two events, including another win on the Web.com Tour in 2014 at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open. His top performances on the PGA Tour came in 2010 when he finished second at the Puerto Rico Open and in 2011 when he finished as the runner up at the Canadian Open after an intense and competitive playoff. With a sweet swing and smarts on the course, he stays competitive no matter where he is playing, and will continue to be a top competitor on tour for many years.
