Kyle Stanley Biography

Kyle Stanley is a professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Stanley attended college at Clemson University where he established 18 individual scoring records. In college, Stanley won the 2006 Aloha Purdue Collegiate and the 2008 Carpet Classic. He was also named the ACC player of the year during the 2006-07 season. In 2007 and 2009, Stanley was named first-team All-America. Stanley was also the individual runner-up at the NCAA Championship in 2007 and 2009. Stanley became a professional after the 2009 U.S. Open and he made his pro debut at the Travelers Championship. In 2010, Stanley earned a 2011 PGA Tour card through Q-School. During his debut season, Stanley recorded four top-10 finished and his best finish was at the John Deere Classic where he was runner-up. The runner-up finish helped Stanley secure the final spot for the 2011 Open Championship. In February 2012, Stanley won the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
