Lonzo Ball Biography

Lonzo Ball is a point guard for the Chicago Bulls. The Los Angeles Lakers originally selected Ball with the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Ball starred in his one season playing college basketball at UCLA. He was named a consensus first-team All-American after averaging 14.6 points, six rebounds and 7.6 assists per game. Ball led the NCAA in assists, was named a first-team All-Pac 12 selection and was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. Ball set a new school record and a freshman Pac-12 record for assists in a season. He guided the Bruins to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Ball is a Southern California native who was recruited to UCLA from Chino Hills High School. As a senior, he was Mr. Basketball USA, California Mr. Basketball and a McDonald's All-American. Ball led Chino Hills to a perfect 35-0 record and a state title.
